The workshop took place October 13th and 14th, 2022. It was hosted by the Beef Innovation Hub, Ag Research Division and Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
It focused on the topics of Economics, Consumers, Animal Welfare, Carbon and Climate Impacts, Community/Ecosystem Health, and Labor. There was discussions of the role of the Hub in Extension, and in Teaching.
The objective of this workshop was to learn from the Beef Innovation Hub External Advisors what the urgent needs are in the focus areas and respond by co-developing next steps.
